Pigeon Training Toothbrush Lesson 1, 2 & 3 Set is designed to introduce babies to toothbrushing gradually as their milk teeth develop. Co-developed with a leading paediatric dentist, the set provides different toothbrush stages for babies from 6 to 18 months and for the stage when most milk teeth have developed. Each lesson is designed around the baby’s stage of tooth development and helps introduce brushing as part of their daily oral care routine.
Lesson 1 – For 6–8 Months | 0–4 Milk Teeth
Lesson 1 is designed for babies from 6 to 8 months with approximately 0–4 milk teeth. It provides an early introduction to toothbrushing and good oral care habits. The soft elastomer head is designed to gently clean the baby’s delicate teeth and massage the gums.
The Lesson 1 toothbrush is intended for the early stage when babies are beginning to become familiar with a toothbrush. A safety shield is included to help prevent the toothbrush from becoming a choking hazard during use.
Lesson 2 – For 8–12 Months | 4–8 Milk Teeth
Lesson 2 is designed for babies from 8 to 12 months with approximately 4–8 milk teeth. It is the next step in developing proper toothbrushing habits and movements.
The fine elastomer bristle ends gently clean the baby’s teeth while mimicking the cleaning motion of a nylon toothbrush. This stage helps babies become more accustomed to the brushing action as more milk teeth develop.
Lesson 3 – For 12–18 Months | Most Milk Teeth Developed
Lesson 3 is designed for babies from 12 to 18 months or when most milk teeth have developed. It introduces the baby to their first real toothbrush.
The soft, rounded bristle ends are designed to gently clean the teeth and remove food particles. This stage provides a transition towards a more conventional toothbrush as the baby’s milk teeth develop.
Designed for Progressive Toothbrushing
The three-lesson system allows brushing to be introduced progressively according to the baby’s stage. Instead of using the same toothbrush design throughout early development, the Pigeon Training Toothbrush set provides specific stages for different levels of tooth development.

The Pigeon Training Toothbrush has been co-developed with a leading paediatric dentist. The design is intended to support babies as they become familiar with toothbrushing and develop their early oral care habits.
Safety Shield for Lessons 1 & 2
Lessons 1 and 2 feature a safety shield designed to help prevent the toothbrush from becoming a choking hazard. Before every use, the safety shield should be affixed completely onto the toothbrush until it clicks.
The safety shield is made from polypropylene. It should be used as instructed and checked regularly to ensure it remains properly attached.
Soft Elastomer Components
The early-stage toothbrushes use soft elastomer components designed for babies’ developing mouths. Lesson 1 features a soft elastomer head for gently cleaning the teeth and massaging the gums, while Lesson 2 uses fine elastomer bristle ends.
Lesson 3 Rounded Bristle Ends
Lesson 3 features soft, rounded bristle ends designed to gently clean the teeth and remove food particles. The brush head uses TPE (SEBS), while the Lesson 3 bristles are made from Nylon 612.

Sterilization and Care
Lessons 1 and 2 and the safety shield can be sterilised by boiling, steam sterilisation or sterilisation tablets, according to the packaging instructions.
For Lesson 3, do not boil the toothbrush. Steam sterilisation or sterilisation tablets can be used as specified on the product packaging.
After every use, rinse the toothbrush thoroughly under running water and allow it to dry off.
Important Safety Precautions
The Pigeon Training Toothbrush is a learning aid and should always be used under adult supervision. It is not a toy and should not be given to a baby to play with.
Do not allow the baby to play with the toothbrush. The soft elastomer parts may break if the baby bites or pulls them off. Replace the toothbrush immediately if the elastomer parts become worn out or damaged.
If the product causes extensive tooth decay and/or sore bleeding gums, discontinue use and seek advice from a dentist immediately.

How to Use
Choose the appropriate lesson according to the baby’s age and stage of milk tooth development. Always use the toothbrush under adult supervision. For Lessons 1 and 2, attach the safety shield completely until it clicks before use.
After brushing, rinse the toothbrush thoroughly under running water and allow it to dry.
Important Care Instructions
Store the toothbrush in a cool, dry place and avoid direct sunlight. Inspect the toothbrush regularly for signs of wear or damage. Replace it immediately if the soft elastomer parts become worn or damaged.
